Laura´s Cushions

Olen aina ollut tyynyfriikki. Uusi tyyny on kuin huoneeseen puhaltava uusi, raikas tuuli. Laura Ashleyn tyynyt ovat olleet suosikkejani kautta vuosien. Nämä hortensiatyynyt tilasin Laura Ashleyn omasta verkkokaupasta, made for measure, eli valitsin itse kankaan, tyynyn koon ja piping värin. Tyynyt ommellaan Englannissa toiveiden mukaan ja saapuvat 8 viikon kuluttua ihanasti silkkipaperiin käärittynä kotiovelle. Kiva fiilis, kun tietää että näitä tyynyjä ei varmaan kenelläkään muilla ole. Hortensiatytön sydän lämpenee kun pää lepää hortenisatyynyllä.

I´ve always been a BIG cushion lover. Funny how new cushions bring a new look to the room. Laura Ashley´s cushions have been my absolute favourites throughout the years. These Hydrangea cushions I ordered from Laura Ashley`s online shop, Made to measure, you choose the fabric, the size of the cushion and the colour of the piping. Wonderful feeling when you know that these cushions are custom made and probably one of their kind. Sewing takes about 8 weeks and the cushions will be delivered to the door beautifully wrapped in a silk paper. On these cushions I will be happy to take my afternoon nap!
